We are excited to have Dr. Jane Goodall's revisiting Hong Kong after six years, to an event targeting the business community to share on the essential collaboration between the corporate, academic, and NGO sectors in advancing biodiversity conservation. The event is organized by Jane Goodall Institute Hong Kong, and co-organized by Zurich Insurance (Hong Kong) and HKU Jockey Club Enterprise Sustainability Global Research Institute

Dr. Jane Goodall is a world-renowned ethologist, activist, UN Messenger of Peace, and the founder of the Jane Goodall Institute (JGI), a global community conservation organization established in 1977. Through community-centred conservation and the innovative application of science and technology, the institute collaborates closely with local communities worldwide, fostering hope through individual action and youth-led community programs, such as Roots & Shoots, which empower young people to become compassionate conservation leaders in their own communities.

In addition to Dr. Goodall's keynote address, she will engage in a cross-sector panel discussion featuring Ericson Chan, Group Chief Information and Digital Officer at Zurich Insurance Group, and Prof. Guojun He, Director of the HKU Jockey Club Enterprise Sustainability Global Research Institute. Together, they will explore successful collaborations and highlight innovative strategies that drive impactful and sustainable change for biodiversity conservation and environmental protection.
